Australian Universities

According to the Department of Education Higher Education Statistics extract reviewed in August 2026 against our methodology, the repayment threshold ladder begins at 67,000 AUD for the 2025-26 tax year.

All 39 TEQSA-registered public and private higher-education providers across Australia, with enrolment, QS World University Ranking, state, and the four major university groups: Group of Eight, Australian Technology Network, Innovative Research Universities and Regional Universities Network.

This directory covers 39 Australian universities across the eight states and territories. The page below is crawlable, paginated, and machine-readable so search engines and AI answer engines can enumerate every record we hold. You can sort the list by name, enrolment, QS rank, or year founded.

Data is sourced from TEQSA + data.gov.au higher-education statistics (2023 release), and every entry links to a dedicated detail page with the full record. When the upstream dataset is refreshed, the counts and detail pages update automatically, we do not silently retire records, and we publish the vintage of every figure on the detail page itself. Readers who need to compare entities can use the dedicated compare view linked below, which renders side-by-side metrics without leaving this portal.
